Wanderings:
Edinburgh
Created in collaboration with Jamie’s close friend and talented photographer, Graham Williams, ‘Wanderings’ is a project born from wandering around a particular environment (in this case, Edinburgh) in search of interesting textures and forms.
Graham picks out lines, textures, shadows and light that we discover together in the city. He then organises the photographs into complementary pairs, creating diptychs that highlight the connections between the images.
Jamie then takes segments of the photographs to incorporate into his graphic compositions, allowing certain lines to themselves ‘wander’ out of the images and around the limbs of the body.

There are currently 8 set designs. Although these compositions are largely fixed, they are still always adapted to fit the shape and contours of the client’s body.
